Charon are a "gothic-metal" band from Raahe Finland (northern), formed in 1992. It took them five years to find a record label to sign on, and in 1998 they released their first album entitled Sorrowburn. Their latest album to date is entitled Songs for the Sinners, and was released in 2005.
